Argo 1096808 Argo Unknown An early sepia printed postcard featuring the steamer Argo in the River Avon with the Clifton suspension bridge in the background. I have not been able to identify which "Argo" this is - there were many ships with the same name about at the time of the postcard. Postally used in Bristol in 1905 - the sender of the card appears to have had no luck in finding out about the Argo either!! Light corner and edge wear with age toning, foxing and light indentation marks at the corners from album corner mounts. A little light ageing and a couple of foxing dots to the front and a postal cancellation top right. Very light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG-/VG) £3.99

Bonita 40603 Bonita Unknown A lovely photographic postcard of the tug Bonita by Feilden of Liverpool. I believe this is the tug that was sunk by an air raid at Liverpool on 3rd May 1941, but cannot be sure. Any info appreciated! Card is in lovely clean condition. (EX) SOLD!

Cumberland Queen 1147527 Cumberland Queen Unknown A photo postcard by Cooper of Liverpool, featuring the Cumberland Queen. She was built in America in 1919 on the Diligent River, Canada, by C. Robinson. In 1921 she sank, but the wreck raised by itself and was refurbished for further trading! Very light corner and edge wear. A couple of foxing spots on the top edge, left and top left, otherwise extremely light marking to the front. Very light marking / ageing to the reverse with a couple of foxing spots. (VG) £5.99
Everene 1190567 Everene Unknown A photo postcard featuring the cargo ship Evrene. The only ship I can find with this name is the one built in 1904 and which served as the Everene from 1926 to 1935 for the Riga Steamship Co / F. Grauds, Riga. However this ship seems to be wearing Deutsche Ost-Afrika Linie (DOAL) funnel colours. Extremely light corner wear and clean to the front except for and "X" impression mark in the top left and bottom right corner tips (maybe to do with album mounting?). Ship name inked to the reverse with a collector's(?) cachet near the stamp box. Otherwise very light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG) £4.49

I think the name is either Frieda or Friega (name printed on the flag on the bow). Postally used in Neuenfelde, Hamburg, in 1903. Very light corner and edge wear. Inked message to the front. Very light marking to the front with very light surface impression from the postal cancellation bottom left. Light marking / ageing with some foxing spotting to the reverse. (VG) £8.99

Paal of Osnabruck featuring the steamer Kaiser Wilhelm II which I believe was built in 1882 and ran to Borkum. Postally used in 1900 in Borkum. Light corner and edge wear. Kate, etc.. 1190552 Kate, etc.. Unknown A printed postcard by Arthur F. Kruger of Hamburg, featuring a view of various vessels in Hamburg Harbour. The only vessel with a name visible is the one in the centre of the photo with the name "Kate" visible on the bow. I have not been able to find out which of the many ships named "Kate" this is. A little corner and edge wear with a small surface crinkle on the top left and bottom left corner tips. A few small brown spots on the top edge, right, otherwise light marking to the front.
