Phoenicia 6313654 Phoenicia Hamburg Amerika Linie (HAPAG) An early art card, with a plain back (menu top?), featuring the Phoenicia (1895-1903) with a pilot boat. Minimal corner and edge wear, but is smaller than usual postcard size at approx 5" x 3.5", so may have been trimmed... not sure about this! A couple of foxing spots to the front and a little surface residue on the stern of the pilot boat. Light marking and very light foxing spotting to the reverse with a little surface residue bottom right. (VG) SOLD!
Phoenix 361801 Phoenix Phoenix Steamship Co Ltd., London An early photo postcard by Barnard & Straker of Hull of a vessel called the Phoenix. I *THINK* this is the 1905 vessel built at Earle's year in Hull for the Phoenix Steamship Co. In 1906 she was sold to SGTM and became the Mont Cervin until 1928. In clean condition with light corner wear. A couple of tiny surface indentations. (VG+) £7.99
