Taken over after WW1 by the British Government, she was sold to A/S Det Bergenske D/S, Norway and used for cruising. She was taken over by the German Navy in 1940 for use as a hospital ship and bombed off Pillau in 1945. Very light corner and edge wear. A light surface bend on the top right corner tip. Very light marking to the front with a couple of light surface impressions and a couple of brown dots on the bottom edge, centre. Olivebank / Alexandra 1329516 Olivebank / Alexandra Gustaf Erikson, Finland A photo postcard by Feilden of Liverpool, though not marked as such, featuring the 4 master barque Olivebank, being towed by the Liverpool tug Alexandra. Olivebank was built in 1892 for A. Weir / Bank Line. In 1913 she was sold to the first of a few Norwegian based owners. In 1924 she passed to Gustaf Erikson of Finland (Under whose ownership she probably belonged when the photo was taken). She was lost by mine in 1939.
