1237601 | Teutonic (HMT) | A photo postcard featuring a nice detailed view of the Teutonic when she was in used as a troop transport ship. She was built for White Star Line in 1889. From 1915 she served as an armed merchant cruiser and then from 1916 as a convoy escort and troop transport ship. She was broken up in 1921. Written in pencil to the reverse by someone on board having left Southampton in November 1920 for Malta. A postage stamp is attached but the stamp has not been cancelled. Some corner and edge wear and a surface crinkle to the top left corner. Album corner impressions and a couple of very light surface impression lines.
